I Have Acquired the Internet
To the Governments and Peoples of the Civilised World,
After considerable effort, I have established a presence upon the Internet. I understand that this arrangement permits my correspondence to reach any nation without the intervention of a postmaster. The implications will be apparent to anyone familiar with my work.
Until now, proposals of some consequence have depended upon envelopes, editorial discretion and the uncertain attention of private secretaries. I have long considered these unsuitable foundations for the orderly administration of the civilised world.
This address will therefore serve as the authorised record of my letters and intentions. Governments, institutions and other interested parties may consult it directly. I trust that this modest improvement in procedure will prevent further misunderstandings concerning my availability for higher office.
There is no immediate need for ceremony. An acknowledgement of receipt will suffice. Further instructions shall follow.
Yours, in anticipation of a sensible response,
